Lions Club Chain Walk for Cancer Care West Chains of Office were glistening along Salthill Prom on Sunday, April 18 for the Lions Club Chain Walk in aid of Cancer Care West. Presidents from the Galway, Gort and Corrib Lions Club along with the Insurance Institute and SKAL among others joined a large contingent as they raise vital funds for a worthy cause. They all wore their Chains of Office to raise awareness for the walk and for Cancer Care West. Walkers met at 10am at the Salthill Hotel before putting their best foot forward along the prom at 10:30am and heading off for Mutton Island. |
